Sandiway House, Cheshire (Current Project)


The site is a former commercial headquarters in a semi-rural location. A mansion house dating from the early C19th and in substantial grounds, had been extended in the 1980’s to form offices and other facilities.

The office block will be demolished and the mansion house refurbished as a family home with new swimming pool, leisure facilities and landscaped gardens.

Five new substantial houses will be constructed on the site of the former office block, the original kitchen garden. The development will include the reconfiguration of site infrastructure and the insertion of new access roads and services.

The new buildings are designed as sustainable contemporary homes, whilst sitting comfortably within their context. Glazing to the private garden elevations will maximise daylight and the buildings will be highly insulated. South facing roofs will provide opportunities for solar and PV panels.
